D&E Machining, Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator/Programmer.
Essential Functions:
- Setup and run equipment as assigned.
- Maintain tooling inventory at machine.
- Machine parts to required tolerance on machine drawing.
- Mark material for deposition
- Perform quality assurance for all parts machined.
- Assist with machine maintenance when directed by Supervisor.
- Participate in continuous improvement training.
- Material handling as required when a move person is not available.
- Keep machine area clean and safe.
- Fill out inspection logs, travelers, and time slips.
- Participate in team updates.
- Upload and download from the machine control.
- Must have programming experience.
- Participate in business updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate must be proficient in reading O.D. mics, I.D. (bore) mics, and calipers. Experience with CMM’s is desirable. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production schedules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals required.
Candidate must also have 5-Axis CNC Mill Experience.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, and will occasionally be required to reach above shoulders and lift up to 40 pounds.
Working hours: 40 hours (Monday-Thursday) plus overtime when needed.
